Modern Languages
Among the modern languages offered are lower division courses in Chamorro, Chinese, Chuukese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Pohnpeian, Spanish and Tagalog. In four semesters the student can expect to achieve proficiency in reading, speaking and writing the language.
JAPANESE LANGUAGE MINOR REQUIREMENTS (Total: 12 credit hours beyond JA101 and JA102)
Required Courses: 12 credit hours from any of the following courses: JA201, JA202, JA301, JA302, JA401,
and JA402.
